Big Blue Adventure Day #17

What else, but another hiking day. We have done a LOT of hiking over this trip. We wanted a little less distance today, so we found a close by trail of only 8 miles round trip. it still had 1200 feet of ascent, so not easy, but still very do-able. The Berry Glen trail is a nice hike up and out and finishes with the Lady Bird Loop (named after Lady Bird Johnson since she was a real advocate for the Save the Redwood movement.)

The hike was not hard and I actually enjoyed the shady, cool, and soft trails. Lots of big Redwoods check out and explore. On the way back to camp, we made a stop by “The Big Tree.” It was quite large. Not sure if it is the biggest tree in the area, but it was “big.”

We spent the rest of the day back at the RV. I cleaned the solar panels and tried to wipe some dead bugs off the front of the bus. Another awesome day on this month long adventure.
